Buxton in Bloomin Winter and Christmas lantern parade
Saturday December 8th 2018
The theme was Dick Whittington- We followed him on his journey to London!
We had an eventful journey singing and dancing our way through Buxton and thanks to everyone who braved the rain and wind. We sparkled our way through the bad weather!

Last years theme was Sleeping Beauty- we had a magical time helping the Prince find his Princess.
Easter Monday 17th April 2017 Let's go fly a kite!
We caused chaos and madness with our little kites at the Arts Pavilion centre, Buxton
Mary Poppins would have been proud of you all!
And well done to those who made the effort to dress up as well!

Buxton in Bloomin Winter and lantern parade 2016
Ahoy there me hearties!! What a great time we had with Captain Jack.
We walked and sang all through the town, travelling up the slopes, across the Market place into the Pavilion Gardens where the Peak Paddler Pirates and other surprises were in store. It was a magical night thanks to all the lovely people that took part and the community that came along to join in.
Winter Celebration - December 2015

Buxton expected gatecrashers for this year's event and the rumours were all true. There were aliens lurking in the bushes, space rockets, weird unearthly music and a big UFO.
Many people came along, despite the inclement weather, and joined in the fun, walked with the lantern parade, watched the Peak Paddlers gliding around the lake and saw Aladdin on his magic carpet.
Children had helped to make the aliens feel at home by dressing up in out-of-this world costumes, they visited Santa in his grotto and everyone watched the celebrity, Kelsey Beth Crossley (this year's Opera House Pantomine star), switch on the Christmas lights.
